In 1982 Pastor Olu Itiola was sent by Deeper Life Bible Church in Lagos, Nigeria as a church-planting missionary to the United States.

He started the first United States branch of Deeper Life Bible Church in Montgomery, AL at the East Montgomery Holiday Inn in 1987. After establishing many other churches across the United States, in 1993, Pastor Olu was called of God to move the headquarters of the U.S. churches to New York and passed the leadership mantle of this local church to Pastor Kyle Searcy, who continues to serve as senior pastor. In February of 2000, under the leadership of now Bishop Olu and the Holy Spirit, a new ministry organization was formed. This new ministry became known as Fresh Anointing International Church.  In 2007, the church in Montgomery determined that the Lord was calling them to make the shift to launch out and become Fresh Anointing House of Worship.

Fresh Anointing is, and has always been, a ministry with a strong emphasis on prayer and a commitment to community transformation, one life at a time.

We exist to Exalt the Lord, Evangelize the Lost, Edify the Body, Equip the Believers and Empower the Community.

Exalt - Our focus is on worshipping God.

Evangelize - Our focus is on communicating the Gospel message to a lost and hopeless world through relationship evangelism and community outreach.

Edify - Our focus is on strengthening fellow believers by providing anointed practical teaching, personal ministry, and a warm environment of Christian fellowship that fosters emotional, spiritual, social, and physical wholeness.

Equip - Our focus is on training, developing, and mobilizing members with the tools needed for success in every aspect of life.

Fresh Anointing is a multi-racial, multi-generational, international ministry committed to fulfilling the mandate of Christ to make disciples of every people group possible.

FUTURE MINISTRY EXPANSION PROJECTS                       

• Youth City
A ministry that will cater to the specific life issues of teens and young adults. Expansion plans include 24/7-crisis counseling, youth tutoring and mentoring, abstinence education, career development, and spiritual discipleship.

• Life and Career Skills Development
   Center
A center committed to aiding members of the community in bettering themselves for maximum productivity in the work force.

• Transition Homes
Homes used as housing and training centers for the homeless intended to guide them in the development of skills that will result in more lasting changes for positive improvements, and long-term solutions.

• Drug Rehabilitation Center
Center dedicated to healing and helping substance abusers.

• Multi-Generational Housing
Low-income safe housing solutions primarily for senior citizens and others who are truly in need.
